Pleasant Visit to Beijing

My wife, brother and I had a four-day visit to Beijing in May 2011. My son who lives in Fuzhuo, Fujian Province, had found Violet and Kong for us. Our visit to Beijing was very enjoyable because of the assistance we had from Violet and Kong. They had their own transportation which was very comfortable. They picked us up from the airport on arrival, drove us to all our chosen sites and returned us to the airport for departure. They showed us Beijing in such a way that the tour guide books cannot match, becuase of their knowledge. For example, we tried the Biejing Duck restaurant recommended by the tour book, but the food and the service we got at another restaurant suggested by Violet was much much better than the guidebook recommendation. Their knowledge of good restaurants is impressive. Since we came back from China, I have refused to eat in Chinese restaurants in the are of the US wjhere we live. They planned the sequence of our chosen sites to give us maximun time at each site and suggested other activities to fill in the time we had available.

Violet's English language skill was very good; we had no problems understanding her. If I plan another trip to Beijing, I will definitely contact Violet about her availability, as I will be happy to her her be my tour guide on my next visit.
